I've had the hatchet for a month or so now, and I've used it several times to split and shape small pieces of wood. It feels great in the hand, and the fit and finish is very well done!

I really enjoyed the tools i recieved bu tone of m tools quickly lost its metal ring attached to the end of it, as it either wasn't attached properly or an oversight in the design, either way i am mostly satisfied with the tool quaility other than this, would buy more toolsI really enjoyed the tools I received, but one of them quickly lost its metal ring attached to the end. It may have either not been attached properly or there could have been an oversight in the design. Despite this issue, I am mostly satisfied with the quality of the tools and would consider buying more.

These gouges are fantastic! They hold an edge extremely well, even in dry hardwood. I'm going to have more in the near future.

The package arrived 6 days after delivery date. Well packaged, but not nearly sharp enough to cut very green spoon blanks. Needed extensive work to be sharpened enough to outperform my previous sloyd knife. Really hoping it holds a decent edge, otherwise it will not have been worth the time or money.

I sincerely apologize that the tool did not arrive ready to use. We know that for green wood, the edge needs to be perfect right out of the box, and I am sorry you had to spend time sharpening it yourself. That is a miss on our quality control, and we will do better.
Regarding the edge retention, please put the tool to the test. We are confident the steel will hold its edge now, but if you have any doubts after using it, please reach out to us directly. We want to ensure this tool earns its place in your kit.
the overall construction is good, but the tip is very thin and tends to bend and/or pierce the sheath if not put in exactly right
