I am delighted with the sickle its well balanced sharp on arrival and feels like I can use it all day without difficulty.

Customer Service were responsive to an initial question, after I ordered I was kept informed about every step of the journey until the post man knocked on my front door.

Really happy I didn’t buy the cheap and nasty sickle’s from Amazon and bought the real deal.

The package arrived 6 days after delivery date

The package arrived 6 days after delivery date. Well packaged, but not nearly sharp enough to cut very green spoon blanks. Needed extensive work to be sharpened enough to outperform my previous sloyd knife. Really hoping it holds a decent edge, otherwise it will not have been worth the time or money.

I sincerely apologize that the tool did not arrive ready to use. We know that for green wood, the edge needs to be perfect right out of the box, and I am sorry you had to spend time sharpening it yourself. That is a miss on our quality control, and we will do better.

Regarding the edge retention, please put the tool to the test. We are confident the steel will hold its edge now, but if you have any doubts after using it, please reach out to us directly. We want to ensure this tool earns its place in your kit.
