The tool is very effective—it was my first time using this type of tool, and I'm extremely satisfied with it. It's sturdy; you can strike it to split very hard logs, and it holds up well.
There are two points worth noting, however. Normally, tools of this kind aren't meant to be razor-sharp, as their purpose is to split wood rather than cut it. This one arrived extremely sharp—razor-sharp, in fact—so I also ended up using it as a drawknife. So, what might seem like a minor flaw actually turned out to be somewhat practical.
The other issue is that I suspect the handle was made under more humid conditions than those in my workshop. Here, the handle has dried out and shrunk enough that it no longer holds the blade securely. I'll therefore need to either make a new handle or keep the current one in a more humid environment, as the tool is practically unusable unless the handle is firmly attached.
That said, it's still a good purchase—especially considering the handle, while problematic, is fairly easy to replace if you have the right materials.
Really great. Sharp and the lovely leather case is worth it. Used right away. Very satisfied. Yay!
I wasn’t actually sure what I was going to use this angled head-knife for, but that was short lived after I started putting it to use. I now appreciate the angled head for cutting long runs on any thickness of leather. It’s my go-to now for just that purpose.

It looks good and feels good in the hand. It does come sharpened. I will give an updated review once I use the knife more. I have had a chance to use the knife and find it is a high quality steel and ergonomically designed. It does cut very well. The handle design doesn’t tire the hand and is easily gripped.
Initial review, they look good and are sharp. Will give a further update once I have a chance to use them for a longer period. After I had a chance to use the item, it is made of high quality steel. Easy to keep sharp. The two designs of the product that could be improved is the thickness and angle of the blade and tge ergonomics of the handle. For chip carving the angle of the blade from the cutting edge to approximately 1/3 up the blade could be thinner. The handle design could also be more ergonomically designed. Currently it is a bit narrow at the neck and overall small in diameter. This makes it hard to hold onto for older users. Overall a really good product.

Just like the halfmoon knife, it´s a beautiful piece. The handle is very comfortable for the hand, though I will actually sharpen this one a bit more to get nicer angles into the ends of my leather straps. Quality of the blade is overall great!
The knife is beautiful, lies great in the hand and is super sharp. Working with it takes a bit of practice, but it´s worth it. Significantly better to work with than scalpels or anything similar.
Well finished tool. The edge was polished and accurate straight out of the box. Highly recommended.
